Rani Therapeutics, a San Jose, Calif.-based developer of a platform to convert injectable drugs into pills, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series C funding.Novartis was joined by return backers Google Ventures, InCube Ventures and VentureHealth. Rani also entered into a strategic collaboration with Novartis “to evaluate Rani’s novel oral biotherapeutics drug delivery platform.”
